As a parent, it is your responsibility to teach your children about the principles, stories, and context, about faith. By giving them the keys to their spiritual journey, they will grow into wonderful human beings who understand the true meaning of believing in God.

Due to the drastic change in how people lead their lives, it becomes challenging to get the attention of children. In the age of technology, you have to take a different approach to teach children about faith. Here are two excellent ways your little ones can learn about God:

One conversation at a time

Most of the times, parents decide to hold lengthy discussions or lectures, to teach children about faith. However, this isn’t an effective method, as they have short attention spans. If you want your children to grasp the importance of believing in God, you need to have one conversation at a time.

Start small, and ask them what they think about faith and see what they have to say. When you provide answers to their questions, they will be curious to learn more about God.

Teach what you believe

If you want your kids to understand the importance of faith, it is crucial that you only teach in what you believe. When your children sense the passion in your voice, they will be eager to know more about God.

At the same time, you should also lead by example, so that they learn valuable lessons. For instance, you can show generosity, kindness, and love, so that it becomes natural for them as they grow up.

Although it is challenging in today’s world to teach children about faith, it is always a rewarding experience. By enriching their lives with the words of God, they will soon learn how to live life and enjoy all the fruits the Lord has to share.
