My Lifelong “Where two or three are gathered”!

Hey Fam!

You know the scripture, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I along them.” Have you ever considered your spouse to be the “two” in this scripture? No really, we truly have a “two” for life with our spouse. Ask yourself this. When was the last time you and your spouse came together in Jesus’s name and asked for a breakthrough, clarity or direction on where He wanted to send you that you didn’t get an answer? Don’t worry, I’ll wait (lol). So often we take for granted the strength and power we have as married couples.

If you’re anything like me (Kayla) I have periods where I struggle in my prayer life individually and I’ve noticed that it spills over into my married prayer life. When things are going good we have a tendency to get lazy BUT when things are going bad we are quick to hit our knees. I’ve found myself, at times, uncomfortable praying with Marqus thinking “God, here I am on my knees with my husband and I’ve been doing these drive prayers with you (insert face palm).” We’ve got to do better. When I sat down to write this it really hit me! God, is always there because we are always wanting to do what is needed to further the kingdom. Take to time to become vulnerable in your prayer life in seclusion and with your spouse consistently and I watch how God will show up and show out in your life.

Much love,
