When you are in a new relationship, the beginnings can be tough. But that in no way means that people who have been together for a long time have it easy. We have to make it work. Women have been in touch with their emotions for so long that it’s easy for them to understand other people’s emotions.
For men, it can be hard they have always been told to buckle up, to be a man. Although that has changed at some level, it still happens. If you want him to listen to your heart, here’s what you can do.
Be frank, and ask what you want
Even though we might wish otherwise, we don’t have telepathy to share our thoughts. Ask him what you want to know. It could be about the relationship, his family, or how he feels about you. No question is barred.
Don’t expect answers, let him surprise you
When you want to be with someone, let them give their input. If you wanted to listen to your responses, then you wouldn’t need him. Rather than coming up with interpretations of your own, give him the time to come up with his answers. Men might not be good at emotions, but they can surprise you. Don’t be upset over his response; accept it, and try to work with it.
Compliment him
It feels so amazing when a person compliments you. Men deserve nice words too. When you give him honest compliments, he’ll appreciate you.
Do things that he loves
When you spend time with him, try to do things that he loves. Show him that the time you spend together is about both of you. Show him your love and when the time is right, share your feelings with him.
How do you know when the time will be right? You don’t have to overthink everything. If you’ve found a way to accept your feelings, you’ll know when the time is right.
Much love,
Kayla
